When you use GeoRankLand, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
• Scan data: Business names, keywords, and cities you enter when running heatmap scans
• Usage data: Number of scans run, scan timestamps, and your subscription plan
• Payment information: Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the GeoRankLand service
• Enforce daily scan limits on free accounts
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you important service emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• Improve the product based on usage patterns

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Scan data and account information is stored in a PostgreSQL database. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

GeoRankLand uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management
• DataForSEO — local search ranking data (we send keyword + location data to retrieve rankings)
• Railway — backend server hosting

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies required for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Scan history is retained for the duration of your subscription.

8. Children’s Privacy

GeoRankLand is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
